Kabuki rounded corner frames are hand carved and hand finished.  Often used to frame scrolls, woodblock prints, portraits and contemporary prints.

Often finished in black laquer and 22k gold leaf, other popular finishes include black laquer with 12k white gold and also an overall gloss black, piano finish laquer.
